I’m writing this story, while vessel on the way going to west STS location at TW high sea. 3 fender 3.3m x 6.5 m fender with ropes and rigging accessories also one super boson from NIPA, have been loaded from port side NIPA.

Bosun who skilled of fender handling has called super bosun. I heard that word here, anyway its cool word. Those fender accessories are for support 3rd party STS operation. Moonbeam with OSprey STS will be conducted after 2nd party Warrior with O.Moonbeam finished.

We have been here at STS location from a few days ago, when after FW bunkered from the port and departed at 6 Jan 2018 @0100h, come to support P.Yang Hu STS Operating with Warrior and had also transfer 160Mt of F.water to NIPA before 1st STS operation Warrior with P.Yang Hu commenced.

1st STS job, Warrior and P.Yang Hu STS have completed on 07 Jan 2019.
We have to wait for another STS job again are Warrior with O.Moonbeam and right now I’m writing the story are 2nd STS party O.Moonbeam and Warrior are in progress.

On the bridge I just received AB reported that he saw some damage at hull near the window at port side her cabin window.

Vessel heading 245 going to 22 05N/ 120 10E. After completed transfer fresh water to NIPA. Come on bridge 30 minute prior to complete transfer. Have a shower, drink 2 glasses of water.

Right now I’m writing.. yes writing some continuous story of a daily crazy story of a man at sea.

This afternoon weather is good, winds about 10 knots NNE, Slight sea, swell Variable dirr. Sea current 1.3 knots 083 degree, based on COG marked in my personal device I-sailor for the last tracking.

I’m also open my another lovely marine map Navionic… more powerful in maps information data we had in the territorial water. Yes, pretty good marine maps. I have also used it for a couple of years ago before I-sailor support in android. I always use it because I loved it.

Okay, right now at the bridge observation is good, sun at vessel heading and partly cloudy, slightly sea. sun about going to sunsets. Around visibility becoming a shadow.

Daily story … yes, daily story!

Today at anchorage someplace in the nearest port of TW. Finished STS job at sea on 29 December 2017, and picked up off signer crew at NIPA, on the way back port for dropped the crew.

At 30 December 2017 early morning arrived in port. Waiting a while outside for permission. Making some VHF call with VTS and some mobile confirmation call with the agent. Everything went well… Entered port dropped anchor and disembark off signer crew. Remaining standby at anchorage until I’m writing this story.

Tonight is the last night of 365 night in 2017.
Thanks for the year of 2017. God brought me into a good experience and story I had been inside.

Year of crazy in English. yeah, I can say like that…! many years but in 2017 I have crazy in English and write my blog in English even bad in writing… I keep and slowly make improvements from the day-to-day mistake and bad spoke and wrote. I try to keep going hopefully will be improved and better in the further… that’s is the goal. Please pray for me.

Right now I’m in my cabin lay down on the sofa… write this story. Also while I’m writing this story… WhatsApp messenger sometimes pop up and I have to check and reply some… okay I have to stop writing a moment, plying my COC game, troops are ready. I will be back.

On bridge 1600h, Behind C.Hu and brilliant STS operations. On bridge fixed the radar operations menu and have a setting on starboard bridge chair. finished a cup of tea. Today yes.. tea.

Last night we have transferred one peach of fender and mooring master to brilliant. Had some problems in brilliant captain and crews with their fenders installed. broken rope, got an email from office to assist them in about 0500h morning got bridge called. Comes on the bridge and finished with those about 0800h, morning. Have some rest take lunch in 1300h.

On the bridge, behind Warrior and C-Hu operations. Just cast-off form pick up stores at C-Hu, delivery from S’pore. Have a seat, finished remain coffee in the cup, open the note to writing some things that I wrote here.

Today at 26. Dec 2017. Yesterday evening going NIPA on Christmas day to pick up mooring master and STS cargo hoses to bringing it to warrior, to have a job with C.Hu.

On today afternoon, after lunch, come on the bridge and C/E give some papers to sign. Evaluation form. Today I feel more nice day as yesterday through the 25 December, Christmas day. Thank God for everything You have done in my daily life at sea.

Please keep me, lowly heart. What I have done… it’s not my skills and power… but Yours. I working as I working for God.. not for Humans.
What I have to give an evaluation to CE is not to make me be a powerful man on board. I can work with anyone, I can finish the job because you give spirit and protection to me also lowly heart learning from You.
What I have to write to this evaluation form, I write as I observed. I’m simple as the actual happen on what I have seen and what I heard from the bottom corner of my professionals’ skills You have given to me.

Today out of a ring of GSM signal… TW high sea STS operation in progress Warrior with O. Moonbeam.

1800h weather slight sea swell and current. Vessel drifting speed about 1.7knots.
Steaming behind, OOW keep watching. Coming on the bridge have a seat, writing some things… enjoying a cup of coffee. Have done also dinner and shower.

This is the time to watch my move when out of signal. I also think to finish all movies before sign off and vacation.

When I get started writing idea is coming fluently.. but you know sometimes have difficulty to began a writing.

To keep my life spirit and mental health I will try to make some writing every day. keeping mind running well just writing out what I thought.

I remember some words I just have watched in movie was “visionary”

What exactly mean of visionary?? when I copy paste the word to my mobile dictionary is said “Pelamun” in Indonesian. oh.. its word inspired me. In my first language its get me more into the deep meaning of the hidden power.

Life at sea many using visionary. You know even on shore also vision is needed to everyone life destination.

So think more about it in your first language the expansion meaning of the visionary… and explore more thing will be brought you to a good way of life.

Have I nice visionary… and enjoying your time anywhere.

Something Something…

Good evening everybody. Hope you all have enjoyed your evening anywhere. Come back again with me the SeaMan. From the sea I’m gonna write something-something.

Hope you enjoying my writing speaking. exactly I was crazy in my group WhatsApp community, but I thought I was boring group member. So I come here in my personal blog to writing and speaking for what I like to writing and speaking.

I’m writing to maintain my mental health. You know that..?? life at sea like life at some place far from anythings. If no mobile internet connection, you may imagine it. it’s so difficult for human life at sea.
Sometimes worse, good and better..!! Depend on daily movement of your level of mental health.

Yeah.. its human..!! You maybe not at sea but your mental health also is not stable some time happy sometimes bored. isn’t it?

Okay, I’m in my room. I’m gonna look something movie to watch or watch some YouTube.. and oh, I remember of my records of word of God from my church, my wife doing it for me. I’m gonna look at that before going to sleep hope will nice dream.

I open my note and thinking what I should to writing story today.

Steaming behind NIPA waiting to pick up off sign crew.

I woke up at about 4:30h when night dreaming end and get pry to beginning my day. I already set up my clock early about 10 minutes from bridge clock. Morning pry, washing face, brush tooth and have a shower after that. It is my morning habit at sea.

On bridge… called Nipa but look busy. Stop engine and steaming waiting around. Ask Second mate to prepare TBT meeting form.

Yesterday afternoon we have been getting on-sign crew from the port. its look like many crews will change on this trip.. about 8 persons.

Yeah… no problem we have to wait and also another vessel in STS at port side. They look busy and handover also takes some time because even they are not officer some key work on deck and engine ratings.

Oh, look like has changes flight schedule. that’s better. More time to make sure everything running smoothly. I support you.

Master review. Today has submitted Master’s review of SMS. This is one of the master onboard jobs as per ISM code to review the shipboard performance and company management system how was the system effective on board.
Yeah… from my thought was many things to add, insert, remove and amend.

As we know onboard AHTS/supply boat is simple but not simply as we thought as a small boat or tugboat. From my observed supply vessel so more safety on direct practical rather than other types of vessel. also, more equipment needs to maintain properly to rich the goal of company safety policy.

But don’t think that if more safety needs much more form and many things have to perform..!! no.. it just needs a simple practical form performance.

Yeah.. just imagine it.. just like a car… or motorcycle, you need to make sure all part, turn/side light, brake, mirror window, steering well at on your maintain attention.

Below just some items to our attention so simple.. don’t think checklist same as maintenance. We must separate it.

From where I am, Weather observed sea and wind slight to calm, partly cloudy and from weather fax reported
[JMA] Typhoon KAI-TAK (201726) is at 11.1N, 127.4E with 1000hPa and 18m/s on 2017-12-14 09 UTC.

On bridge enjoying a time.. have a talking. VHF conversations monitoring are fishing vessel and merchant ship talking about fishing net.

Tonight no coffee. Usually in morning or noon after lunch.

Visibility is good.. I can see light of the town from here. Yes..! this better night. Current also slight. I think tonight is slight to calm night. Yes! I can imagine like that. Yeah in my position but not in weather fax reported position. There is a typhoon concentration. Sea is relative.. it’s not absolute. like tide sometime high sometime low and depend from where you are.

Calling Nipa but didn’t reach with VHF. Sea current drifted away her from us and maybe she also has a job operation STS with other without us.

Going down and take lunch.. come up bridge again I remember of my IF card Internet. Make some communication hope its sent to me as soon as possible due to my internet data getting expired on next few days.

Second time call again NIPA and reached. get communication and all operation planning has confirmed.

Get rest again waiting agent confirmation to bunker FW and maybe also crews change.

Hi.. comeback again.. ! Today weather come up rather rough and sun shining. As usual daily life at sea come to bridge when finished eating lunch. Have a seat, enjoy a cup of coffee. Open the phone and open unread whatsapp message.

Today, at sea more better.. Internet connection not so difficult and we’re keep connected to most world connection technology. yeah it’s called like that.

Today at LiuQiu island vicinity still on stand by for job operations. Everyone onboard have a holiday on bridge. All buddy keep personal device and communicate with lovely person on shore at home.

Activities at sea real normal human…! just 11 persons we’re keep together as a team work.. some time busy with each work. Another time get together on bridge enjoying free time.

Today is Sunday, Say Good Sunday to you all Christian !! May God blessed and enjoyable life you anywhere!

In my room. Time is 21.30 (+8 UTC), I open my note to write something that I have planned to do every day was writing some English activities article in my blog.

Today many things i have done.
1st thing is renew my blog server rent about 240 thousands IDR. Just have paid.

2nd thing is able to posting my previews note to blog with BD application on laptop. Setting everything and get working again.

3rd thing is replace my phone screen protection called tempered glass. actually not in number 3, in before 1st thing.. but writing must go on! time was never back. what I have wrote let it. yes..! Do you agree?
My wife bought for me and brought on board by new on signer chief off was on board a few days ago depart from Jakarta. and also brought some useful device called AIS plug. I already tested and working good on my phone with Isailor map.

I like to thank to my friend Bagus, you’re the very update smart modern SeaMan..!! you updated me so good useful device.

Today at sea, so different with 10 years ago. I know AIS plug have some year ago, was a IMO requirements but we know it using by pilot and also not all of the pilot around the port..! it just only a some pilot and in a big port.

Now, everything like ECDIS is just a phone screen view. I hope you can imagine my writing style, bad English and can understand what exactly I mean.

okay friends.. I stop for right now. So long sentence I wrote. I have back to looking for gold to upgrade Eagle Artillery my COC game waiting me.

Next time i will back with AIS plug and Isailor. Very useful navigation aids and professionals device.
