<p align="justify">Berbicara tentang inspeksi, meriksa memeriksa di atas kapal, saya pada awal mengalaminya saat Eksternal Audit wah uda pada ngapalin tugas-tugas masing-masing dan beberapa poin yang di bagikan C/O. uda dek dekan ngapalinya. Trus adalagi nih katanya kalo kapal masuk singapore naik PSC gawat lagi bisa di turunin.. hehe buat cuit nyali juga sih.. mo join ke perusahaan luar.</p>
<p align="justify">Aturan atau regulation selalu terlintas di benak kita akan pekiran yang ruwet, was-was dan sebagainya. Namun, sebenarnya menghadapi sebuah Inspection tidak lah harus cemas bekerja dengan keras, tetapi jalanilah pekerjaan di atas kapal sebagaimana biasanya. Tentu dalam arti biasanya yang sesuai dengan waktu kerja, porsi kerja dan regulation pula. Dengan tanda <em>kutip</em> bukan bekerja ala di kapal tug boat, yang sebagian besar hanya pada tugas classic saja yaitu: jaga, makan tidur, bangun nyampe pelabuhan dan pulang rumah&#8230; Maaf ya bukan menyinggung. please jgn marah. he2.</p>

<p align="justify">Sebagian besar kapal tanker Indonesia dan juga asing, yang di charter oleh oil company anggota OCIMF selalu menghadapi vetting inspection, Major Inspection sehingga membuat sebagian besar officer muda / jonior officer cemas menghadapinya. Bukan saja yang bersangkutan, tetapi Owner dan Crewing Management pun ragu dan sangat selektif untuk memilih calon officer yg hendak di pekerjakan di atas kapal yang akan menghadapi vetting dan Oil Major Inspection.</p>

<p align="justify">Nah, dari kasus tersebut membuat banyak calon junior officer terutama yg baru lulus, kecil peluang nya untuk dapat di terima bekerja pada kapal-kapal yang akan menghadapi Inspeksi. Dan juga dengan ketidak percaayaan diri, ragu atas potensi, kemampuan dan pengalaman berlayar yang belum lama, maka banyak junior officer yang enggan melamar pada perusahaan kapal tanker tetapi lebih memilih kapal kecil, tug boat, <span style="text-decoration: line-through">supply boat</span>, Crew boat dll. yang katanya uang nya banyak, kerjanya sedikit.. dan memang betul.!!</p>
<p align="justify">Tidak berpanjang kata menurut pandangan saya, uang adalah utama tetapi apa yang anda belajar hari ini arah pengalaman kerja anda, akan menjadi aset yang sangat mahal untuk meraup reziki lebih dari sekedar sebuah tugboat.. dan yang pasti akan sangat berguna untuk masa depan yang lebih baik dan cermelang untuk seorang popeye.</p>
<p align="justify">Vetting Inspection dan Oil Major selalu berpedoman pada regulation&#8230; nah untuk menghadapinya, salah satu jurus menurut saya adalah kita sudah harus jauh hari telah mengetahui bahan-bahan apa yang hendak di inspeksi.!! &quot;Ibaratnya kita hendak mengikuti ujian Negara maka kita harus berusaha untuk mencari kisi-kisi soal, bahkan bocoran Soal-Soal Ujian Negara&quot;</p>
<p align="justify">Memang, di atas kapal anda pasti sudah tau garis besar semacam apa sih, dan apa saja yang akan di periksakan terutama yang sudah sering mengalami vetting dan Oil Major. Tapi anda perluh ketahui juga sebab peraturan selalu ada perubahan dan penambahan. Dan untuk yang belum menglaminya kembali lagi kepada pribadi kita, alangkah lebih baik nya kita sudah menguasai minimal yang menjadi poin-poin tugas kita di atas kapal, walaupun blm menghadapinya. Maka kita akan lebih mengenal dan familiar degan peraturan atau regulation.</p>
<p align="justify">Pedoman atau panduan tersebut adalah &quot; Manual Inspection &quot; di kenal dengan nama <span style="text-decoration: underline">Ship Inspection Report (SIRE) Programme</span> di terbitkan oleh OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum).
